The vehicle was found on fire in a median in the area of I-820 and Blue Mound Road in Saginaw early Friday police say.
SAGINAW, Texas — One person was killed in a fiery, single-vehicle crash early Friday morning in Saginaw, police say.
Officers were called shortly after 3 a.m. to I-820 and Blue Mound Road in Saginaw and found a vehicle in the median on fire between I-820 and the eastbound exit service road to Blue Mound Road, police say.
The only occupant of the vehicle had been taken out of the vehicle before officers arrived, officials say, and officers found the person lying in the median.
Officers and EMS personnel performed life-saving measures, but EMS ultimately pronounced the person dead at the scene, police said.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office was called to help with the investigation into the crash, officials say. The person hasn’t yet been identified.
No other details about what led up to the crash were immediately available, and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
