2 hospitalized, 1 arrested after early morning shooting in Old East Dallas, police say

Police said the investigation into the shooting is ongoing.

DALLAS — Two people were hospitalized, and one person was arrested following an early morning shooting in Old East Dallas, officials said.

According to the Dallas Police Department, officers responded to a shooting call in the 900 block of North Haskell Avenue. When they arrived, investigators determined an unknown suspect shot multiple people at the location, police said.

Two of the victims were taken to a local hospital in stable condition, and officers arrested one person at the scene, DPD said.

Later in the day, WFAA crews saw crime tape around the parking lot of the Capitol One Bank at 4111 Gaston Ave. Police said their investigation is ongoing.
