Infosys Engineer Arrested For Secretly Recording Women In Toilet; Caught When Mobile’s Flash Reflected On Door

A 30-year-old techie at Infosys was caught red-handed when he tried to film a co-worker at the company’s toilet.

Swapnil Nagesh Mali, who works as a senior analyst at Infosys (Helix), reportedly stood on a commode in an adjacent toilet stall to film the woman. The female colleague however discovered being filmed by the reflection of Mali’s mobile device on her toilet stall’s door.

An internal HR probe revealed that the techie had secretly filmed 30 more women in the office. He was made to apologize and delete the videos. However, the husband of the woman who caught the pervert red-handed protested outside the campus prompting the arrest of the man. Per the Electronic City Police Station’s officials, the creep might have been doing this for a while.

Here’s how the internet is reacting over the incident. One user remarked, “Society is going to dogs.” Another asked, “Don’t they have CCTV outside of washrooms? The user further slammed, “How come a male employee is entered into a female washroom?”
