Samsung has officially unveiled its next-generation foldables, Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, marking a major step forward in the company’s premium foldable lineup. Both devices bring refined designs, upgraded internals, and deeper AI integration, all while being slimmer, lighter, and more durable than before.
With these launches, Samsung aims to push the boundaries of what foldables can do, offering both a productivity-focused powerhouse in the Fold 7 and a compact lifestyle companion in the Flip 7.

Galaxy Z Fold 7: Thinner, Smarter, More Powerful
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is now Samsung’s thinnest and lightest foldable to date, weighing 215g. When folded, it measures 8.9mm thick, and just 4.2mm when open, making it even more pocket-friendly.
It features a 6.5-inch outer Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a new 21:9 aspect ratio, while the 8-inch inner display offers 11% more screen space than last year’s model. Both displays hit peak brightness of 2,600 nits, and the foldable panel uses 50% thicker Ultra-Thin Glass for added durability. Reinforced Armour Aluminium gives it a 10% structural strength boost.
Under the hood, the Fold 7 runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 “Elite for Galaxy”, optimized for AI processing. This powers features like real-time translation, Circle to Search, and Samsung’s ProVisual Engine for enhanced image and video quality. The Fold 7 also introduces a 200MP primary rear camera, a first in the Fold series, alongside advanced Night Video and 10-bit HDR.
Galaxy Z Flip 7: Compact and Creative
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 continues to cater to users who prefer a compact form factor without sacrificing functionality. It now comes with a larger 3.9-inch FlexWindow on the outside, which supports full app access, including replying to messages, navigating with maps, or even browsing Spotify—without unfolding the phone.
When flipped open, the main display is a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED 2X panel, with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Flip 7 is powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite chip and benefits from similar AI features as the Fold, including AI-powered call summarization, photo editing tools, and language translation.
The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor and 12MP ultra-wide lens, along with improved AI scene optimisation for better low-light photography.
