Morgan Stapp, a.k.a. Morgan D. Stapp, an Indiana mother, has been charged with allegedly trying to sex traffic her 7-month-old daughter to a man on Snapchat for $400.

According to CBS 4, the FBI began its investigation into Stapp in November 2024. Per the outlet, the bureau reportedly received a report from Snapchat about attempted sex trafficking on the platform. Furthermore, it was reported that user “morgan-stapp” sent three photos of her 7-month-old daughter to a man.

“U can f**k her for 400$,” one message reportedly read, adding. “Half now rest after. I’ll send my address. I do live alone, and her dad is not in the picture.”

On November 11, 2024, FBI agents reportedly interviewed Stapp about the messages. In turn, she alleged her account was hacked and she no longer had access to the account. Then, a month later, Stapp reportedly recounted her story, admitting she lied to the agents.

“I wanted the FBI to leave,” she reportedly expressed.

That December, Indianapolis police joined the FBI’s investigation and discovered Stapp’s Snapchat account was active after her initial interview.

“Would you be interested in buying my nudes so I can get baby diapers?” she reportedly messaged 81 times to various users.

More Details On The Indiana Mother’s Charges

Per CBS 4, Stapp was officially charged with attempted child sexual trafficking on July 1. Then, on Tuesday, July 8, she was reportedly arrested and booked into Marion County Jail. Furthermore, the outlet adds that her bond has been set at $200,000. Additionally, an initial hearing for her case is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Friday, July 11.

Before the charges against Morgan D. Stapp, a couple in Arkansas was arrested for allegedly trying to sell their 2-month-old son. As The Shade Room previously reported, in September 2024, Darien Urban and Shalene Ehlers allowed their son to go to another man’s camper at Beaver Lake Hide Away Campground. Ultimately, the parents allegedly signed away their rights to the child in exchange for a $1,000 cashier’s check.

In addition, they reportedly forbid the man from contacting them in the future.
