Arlington police said, based on their investigation, they believe this shooting was an isolated incident, and the man and woman knew each other.
ARLINGTON, Texas — A man and woman are dead after an apparent murder-suicide at a hair salon in Arlington, according to police.
Arlington police said officers responded at approximately 10:15 a.m. Friday to the 7800 block of S. Cooper Street for a reported shooting. Salon and Spa Galleria is located there.
Police said officers found a man lying unresponsive inside the salon with a gunshot wound and he was declared dead at the scene. The man’s identity was not immediately known. A woman, who police said was the suspected shooter, was also found shot at the scene with a gunshot wound they believe to be self-inflicted. The woman was taken to the hospital where she was also pronounced dead.

Police said there were no additional injuries reported.
