Unsettled weather has returned for the weekend with scattered rain and thunderstorms around both Saturday and Sunday. While it won’t be a complete washout, some storms could produce heavy rain, leading to flooding problems.
A Flood Watch is posted for much of North Texas from noon on Saturday until 7 p.m. Sunday. Rain totals between 1-3″ are expected with locally higher amounts possible.

A storm or two could contain strong wind gusts but the overall severe weather outlook is low. Much of North Texas is included in a level 1 risk for severe storms on Saturday.

Rain chances will decrease from south to north on Monday.
