“We will handle this page with the reverence it deserves and hopefully unite owners and loved ones with their belongings,” says the FB page.
KERR COUNTY, Texas — A group of volunteers has joined together hoping to reunite items found during the search efforts on the Guadalupe River with the people who lost them during the flood.
The mission of the Facebook group “Found on the Guadalupe” is simple. “If you’ve found something—or are missing something—please share here.”
“We will handle this page with the reverence it deserves and hopefully unite owners and loved ones with their belongings,” says the FB page. “Please continue Praying for our beloved Hill Country!”
Photos of everything from stuffed animals, to clothing, to keepsake items and photographs are being shared on the group’s Facebook page.
Amanda Fuller said, “She needed quite a bit of TLC, but we made some good progress! I’m still working on getting the stuffing fully dry, but wanted to get her posted! Please share and help me find this pretty unicorn’s family.”
Every post has the same heartfelt message… is this yours or do you know who it belongs to because we’d like to return it.
The Facebook group is visible to everyone and anyone can share photos of items found, or search the posts to see if one of their lost item’s has been shared.
When posting, make sure to include a description of the item, as well as where it was found.
