DALLAS — Hundreds of flights are delayed while a ground delay is in place at DFW Airport as rain moves through North Texas Monday.
Rain moved through North Texas Monday, with low rain and storm chances expected to stick around through Tuesday.
As the rain moved through the area, a ground delay was issued for DFW Airport until 7:59 p.m. due to thunderstorms with an average delay of 29 minutes, according to the FAA.
As of shortly before noon Monday, more than 400 flights had been delayed at DFW Airport and nearly 80 delayed at Dallas Love Field.
