Internet Erupts In Memes As UNO Is Introduced At Las Vegas Games Tables But There Is A Catch

Mattel is debuting the classic card game of UNO at Palms Casino Resort with the first-ever UNO Social Club. The global toy brand will hold the games between July 18 and July 20. One winner of the contest will get the chance to stay in one of the fanciest suites in Las Vegas, Nevada, and go wild.

Speaking about the UNO game at the world’s largest town for leisure and games, Mattel’s Vice President and Global Head of Games, Ray Adler, quipped,

“We created UNO Social Clubs to reimagine what game night can be—bringing people together for real-world fun, connection, and a bit of friendly competition.”

He continued,

“The UNO Social Club in Las Vegas is just the beginning, and we’re excited to see how these new experiences inspire players to show up, play hard, and make unforgettable memories.”

Reactions poured in with some calling the contest stupid, while others dropped memes. One user quipped, “I can’t wait to lose my life savings in a game of high stakes Uno.” Another wrote, “I feel like this is going to end with multiple murders.” A third user labelled the gimmick as “Gen z marketing.’ A very excited user remarked, “That plus four card about to end lives not friendships now.”

So what’s the catch? The UNO card game won;t be officially played for gambling in the Las Vegas casinos.
