Skai Jackson Opens Up About Her Struggle With Postpartum Hair Loss
Actress Skai Jackson gave birth to her baby boy, Kasai, in January 2025, and since then, she’s been open about her postpartum journey on the net. While privately dealing with court issues involving Deondre Burgin, the father of her son, and choosing to keep Kasai’s face off social media, she’s still managed to give fans a glimpse into her day-to-day life as a new mom.
From sharing updates on her snap back progress to breastfeeding, and now hair loss. In a recent post, the actress admitted feeling nervous about the amount of shedding she’s been experiencing. She got real about losing her edges, admitting that postpartum has her so stressed she’s ready to count the strands morning, noon, and night. She opened up about how alarming the shedding has been and asked fellow moms how long it typically lasts. Skai even mentioned she’s considering asking her doctor if there might be a deficiency behind it all, hoping to get to the root of the issue literally.
