DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH: Star2, Luh Kel & LerMuDex – “Here We Go”

In this new entry in our ‘Diamonds In The Rough’ category, we would like to introduce you to upcoming artists Star2, Luh Kel and LerMuDex and their brand new single titled “Here We Go”.

Rising star Star2 teams up with chart-topping hitmaker Luh Kel and lyrical powerhouse LerMuDex for the release of “Here We Go”, the first single from Star2’s highly anticipated upcoming EP, Lonely Summer Nightz.

This sultry, slow-burning track dives deep into the emotional terrain of love, betrayal, and longing—where sweet temptation turns bittersweet and desire walks hand in hand with disappointment. Soulful melodies meet raw lyricism, with verses flowing in both English and Thai, adding a poignant, cross-cultural layer that speaks to heartbreak’s global language.

“Here We Go” doesn’t just sound cinematic—it looks it too. The official music video is a visual feast: luxury homes, glistening pools, and beautiful women paint a picture of success and indulgence. But beneath the surface? Heavy hearts and emotional scars that fame and fortune can’t heal.

For Star2, this single is more than just another release—it’s a statement. Born in a Thai refugee camp after fleeing genocide in Myanmar, he turned tragedy into triumph, building a genre-bending career blending pop, hip-hop, and soul. With previous collaborations alongside Soulja Boy, Mozzy, $tupid Young, MBNel, and now Luh Kel and LerMuDex, Star2 continues to carve out space for Asian-American voices in the global music scene.

Under the mentorship of platinum producer Chico Bennett and fresh off a growing wave of media buzz from GQ, Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam, Lyrical Lemonade, BET, and more—Star2 is here, and he’s only just getting started.
