Say WHAT?! T.D. Jakes Claims 44,000 AI Bots Tried To Take Him Down Over Diddy Party Rumors (VIDEO)

Whew, the internet has been working overtime on this one! Bishop T.D. Jakes is finally clearing the air after wild rumors spread that he had stepped down from his Dallas megachurch over alleged ties to Sean “Diddy” Combs. And he’s not holding back — blaming AI-generated content and bots for fanning the flames of false accusations.

T.D. Jakes Said “Not Today Satan”

The 68-year-old pastor and author popped up on ‘Money And Wealth With John Hope Bryant‘ this week. On the show, he said 44,000 bots were allegedly used to attack his name. According to Jakes, about “98 percent” of the content circulating online — including rumors about attending Diddy’s alleged sex parties — were created by artificial intelligence. Additionally, he called out TikTok and urged people to stop believing everything they see on the platform. “We have got to stop getting our information on TikTok,” he said.

Previously, T.D. Jakes subpoenaed YouTube’s parent company, Google, to take down hundreds of defamatory videos spreading what he calls “sordid and sensational” allegations.

“If there were anything there, the FBI would have been in it,” Jakes revealed on the podcast. “There’s no hiding it.”

The Internet Doesn’t Know What To Think

Now, the internet is side-eyeing the whole thing — and it’s showing in the comments. And, after T.D. Jakes’ interview dropped, folks flooded John Hope Bryant’s Instagram page with everything from support to serious side-eyes. Some are defending the bishop, while others are still trying to make sense of the AI claims and his connection to Diddy.

One Instagram user @mame_efe19 said, “I hope Bishop is feeling better these days. He had a hard year with all the criticism.”

And, Instagram user @black_journalistsmmentalhealth wrote, “This conversation was needed

Instagram user @fashiongalactic_media added, “We love you Bishop Jakes!!

However, Instagram user @d_massthewriter said, “When you out of pocket it should be called out PERIOD regardless of who you are.

Meanwhile, Instagram user @standard_backlines added, “When you align yourself up with those types of people for whatever reason, you are going to receive some smoke! Let’s not act all brand new.

Then, Instagram user @secondchancesuccessnonprofit wrote, “That wasn’t said when diddy was going to trial

The Background Of These Allegations

And, as for his name being linked to Diddy? Jakes isn’t new to the drama. Just last month, he and Oprah sat down at the Good Soil Forum and addressed the viral party rumors head-on. Meanwhile, Diddy awaits sentencing after being found guilty of transporting individuals for prostitution.

While Bishop Jakes shut down the Diddy-related rumors, he did confirm that reports about his health were true. Previously, the megachurch leader revealed he suffered a massive heart attack in November 2024 — a serious scare that prompted him to prioritize recovery and ultimately step back from the church’s day-to-day leadership. And, he’s since handed over the reins of his ministry to his daughter and son-in-law, signaling a new chapter for the Jakes legacy.
