Vice Ganda sent his congratulatory greetings to Awra Briguela for her recent educational milestone, advising the latter to focus on her win and not on the background noise.
On her Instagram page on Thursday, July 17, Briguela credited Vice Ganda, her talent manager, as one of the reasons why she was able to earn a high school diploma.

The “It’s Showtime” host responded to this via the comments section, “Congratulations! Never mind the noise. Focus on your win. Love you!”
Briguela, in turn, expressed her love for the TV host whom she addressed as her “Lovely Muder.”
“Thank you so much, My Lovely Muder. I wouldn’t even be here if it weren’t for you,” Briguela wrote.
“I promise I’ll keep focusing on the love and the people who truly matter just like you taught me,” she vowed. “The rest? They’re just background noise. I love you so much, My Lovely Muder.”

Briguela also earlier dedicated her academic achievement to Vice Ganda, thanking him for sending her to school and for believing in her.
Vice Ganda’s recent remark coincidentally came after Briguela previously reposted a reminder about how misgendering is a form of disrespect. The younger comedian’s repost was seemingly prompted by one Jack Argota, who reacted to reports addressing Briguela as a woman and argued that she should instead be addressed as “bro.” /ra
