Grapevine police seek public’s help identifying suspect accused of stealing car at gunpoint

Grapevine police are asking the public to help identify a man who allegedly stole a car at gunpoint last weekend, officials say.

GRAPEVINE, Texas — Grapevine police are searching for a suspect in an armed robbery, the department said in a press release. 

Around 5:30 a.m. July 12, the victim of the carjacking was leaving a donut shop on Glade Road in Grapevine when a man holding a gun walked up and demanded the keys to his car, Grapevine police said in a press release. 

The suspect drove away in the victim’s 2023 blue Dodge Challenger GT with Texas license plate TVK 8987, police said. He suspect was described as 5’6” tall Hispanic man with a muscular build, police said. He was wearing a ski mask and dark clothing at the time of the robbery. 

Detectives believe he may be in the Euless, Mid-cities area, the release states.
