Asus Vivobook 14 Debuts in India Featuring Snapdragon X Chip, 14-Inch Display

Asus has launched the Vivobook 14 (X1407QA) in India, powered by a Snapdragon X processor and a Hexagon NPU capable of delivering 45 TOPS AI performance. The device features a 14-inch full-HD+ display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 60Hz refresh rate. It runs on Windows 11 Home and includes built-in support for Microsoft Copilot, enhancing productivity with integrated AI features right out of the box.

The Asus Vivobook 14 (X1407QA) is priced at ₹65,990 in India and will be available for purchase starting July 22 via Flipkart and the Asus eShop. While Asus hasn’t officially confirmed color variants, promotional images indicate the laptop will come in a single dark grey color option.

Asus Vivobook 14 Specifications

The Asus Vivobook 14 (X1407QA) features a 14-inch IPS display with a full-HD+ resolution of 1,920×1,200 pixels, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a 60Hz refresh rate. The screen supports 45% NTSC color gamut and reaches up to 300 nits brightness. It also carries TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light emission, offering better eye comfort during long usage.

The laptop is built for flexibility, featuring a 180-degree hinge that allows it to lie flat. It runs on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon X (X1-26-100) processor with a peak clock speed of 2.97GHz and an integrated Qualcomm Adreno GPU. A dedicated Hexagon NPU supports AI-based tasks, delivering up to 45 TOPS of AI performance.

In terms of memory and storage, the Vivobook 14 packs 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD. It includes a full-HD IR webcam with a privacy shutter and Windows Hello support for secure logins. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and a Microsoft Pluton chip for added security.

The laptop also features an ErgoSense keyboard with a dedicated Copilot key, noise reduction, and an ErgoSense touchpad with Smart Gesture. It comes with two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, two USB 4.0 Gen 3 Type-C ports (supporting power delivery and display), an HDMI 2.1 TMDS port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Audio is powered by stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. The 50Wh battery supports 65W fast charging and is claimed to last up to 29 hours. The laptop weighs 1.49 kg and measures 315.1×223.4×17.9mm.
