Jackie Christie’s other daughter speaks up and defends her mother.
People have a lot to say about the most recent episode of “Basketball Wives” on social media. Things escalated quite a bit between Jackie Christie and her daughter Chantel Christie. They tried to have a sit-down to talk about things twice, and the last attempt resulted in a physical altercation. Jackie wasn’t here for Chantel being disrespectful in her room and asked Chantel to leave. Chantel pushed Jackie instead of leaving, and Jackie responded with a right hook. Chantel failed to mention that she pushed Jackie first when she went back to tell the group what went down. So Jackie’s costars (Ming Lee specifically) labeled her as a monster and proceeded to side with Chantel, as they have all season long.
Fans of the show are outraged by what took place. Some feel it is unacceptable that Jackie and her daughter’s issues were not treated with care. They can’t understand why Jackie’s coworkers not only took Chantel’s side but got involved in someone’s family business at all, something Jennifer Williams didn’t want done to her and her husband, Christian Gold. Regardless, Evelyn Lozada and the others have continued to ignore Jackie’s calls to stay out of it.
Another person who has been vocal about Jackie and Chantel’s situation is Takari Lee, Jackie’s other daughter. Takari made headlines years ago when she aired out her issues with Jackie in a book, and Evelyn decided to get involved. Takari and Jackie have since moved on, and she called out Chantel a few weeks ago. She alleged that Chantel took her story and used it for a storyline on “Basketball Wives.” But Chantel herself has not experienced any of it, allegedly.
Takari had more to say hours ago after a clip of the altercation was posted by Reality Entertainment TV.
She said, “She doesn’t even know our mom…If she did, she would only try to protect her…She didn’t deserve to be done like this on her platform…that’s all I have to say about this.”
