To maintain animal welfare and combat the growing shelter crisis in the capital city, Austin Animal Services and Greater Good Charities are hosting a free spay and neuter event from Thursday to Monday for owned pets. The clinic also provides free vaccinations, flea and tick treatments, and microchipping. Registration and drop-off times are between 6 and 10 a.m. daily. Proof of residency is required.
