Video: Amazon semi-truck driver loses control, crashes on rainy city street

An Amazon driver in a semi-truck lost control of a wet street, veering off the road and crashing on June 25 in Iowa City, Iowa.

The striking traffic camera video obtained by the social news platform Storyful shows the semi-truck appearing to hydroplane while traveling along a local highway near a bridge.

KCRG-TV in Iowa reported that the semi-truck crossed into another lane, nearly colliding with another car before barreling off the road and crashing into a tree, which prevented the truck from going any further. 

The news outlet noted that no one was injured in the accident.
