Beyoncé basically said, “Cadillac who?” and brought the house down in Atlanta’s State Farm Arena! She resurrected ’16 Carriages’ with a futuristic gold horse prop that had fans screaming. Rising above the crowd, Bey delivered those soul-stirring notes, and this time things went exactly to plan. The new prop also perfectly matched the country aesthetic of the tour. With three more ATL shows to go, online chatter is already underway, with people wondering if this is a permanent change to the tour.

What Previously Happened At Her Houston Show
On June 28 at NRG Stadium, Beyoncé was slaying ’16 Carriages’ in her red Cadillac prop, floating above the crowd. But whew, it went left… literally! The car tilted sideways midair, leaving Queen Bey dangling. Cool as ever, though her breath was a little shaky, she shouted,
“Stop, stop, stop!” while the crew lowered her to safety. Fans gasped, but Bey waved and smiled like it was nothing. “If ever I fall, I know y’all will catch me,” she told the crowd, per ABC News. Parkwood Entertainment called it a “technical mishap,” but whew, somebody’s probably dusting off their LinkedIn! That scare led to ’16 Carriages’ being briefly cut from setlists.
In a statement, Parkwood Entertainment wrote, “Tonight in Houston, at NRG Stadium, a technical mishap caused the flying car, a prop Beyonce uses to circle the stadium, and see her fans up close, to tilt. She was quickly lowered and no one was injured. The show continued without incident.”
