Gervonta Davis has reportedly been arrested in Miami after allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend on Father’s Day.

More Details On Gervonta Davis Allegedly Assaulting His Ex-Girlfriend On Father’s Day
According to WPLG Local 10, Davis is accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend during the evening of June 15. To note, the ex-girlfriend has not been explicitly named in reports. However, it is noted that Davis and the woman share two children.
Per the outlet, Davis allegedly went to the woman’s home to pick up their children for Father’s Day. When he arrived, they reportedly got into a verbal altercation, which turned physical. Furthermore, Davis allegedly told his ex to remove their children from his car after changing his mind about taking them out for the day. Then, when the woman “leaned forward to retrieve their daughter,” Davis allegedly struck the woman in the back of her head. Additionally, Davis is accused of slapping the woman in the face and leaving a cut on her lip.
At that point, the woman texted her mother, asking her to come outside due to the altercation. Per the outlet, when the mother walked outside, she witnessed her daughter “visibly distressed and crying while arguing with Davis.”
Furthermore, the mother filmed the ongoing scene with her cellphone. In the footage, Davis can reportedly be seen throwing a small box at the woman.

Per the outlet, Davis was taken into custody in Miami Beach before being transported to the Doral Police Department. WPLG Local 10 adds that the pro-boxer “refused to fill out a Miranda warning form and sign it” at the location. Furthermore, the outlet adds that he was taken into custody on a battery charge and is being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
At this time, his bond is “to be set.”
Last Year, Before Gervonta Davis Was Arrested, He Welcomed His Third Child
According to Essentially Sports, Gervonta Davis shares his eldest child, a daughter named Gervanni Davis, with his ex-girlfriend, Andretta Smothers. He also shares two younger children with his ex-girlfriend, Vanessa Posso. Their daughter, Giovanna Thalia, was born in October 2021. Then, as The Shade Room previously reported, the pair welcomed their son, Gianni Bryant, in August 2024.
Per Essentially Sports, Posso has previously accused Davis of domestic violence, reportedly retracting her claims against him on one occasion.
