Over 24 hours after SZA stopped responding directly to Nicki Minaj, she circled back to prove a point! As previously reported, SZA’s manager, TDE Punch, reacted to the first heated exchange between the entertainers by suggesting that it was about a sidelined feature request. Nicki has said it’s about the ‘Snooze’ artist inserting herself in her beef with Punch for allegedly bullying her.

In the latest twist, SZA has released evidence proving Nicki reached out to her manager for the feature, as he’s already said. Minaj has since acknowledged SZA’s post, but most of her comments are still dragging the singer’s looks.
SZA Drops Photo To Call Out Nicki Minaj For Slamming Her Music
As reported, Nicki Minaj has kept her boot on SZA’s neck since Tuesday night after believing a nameless tweet to be shade. SZA wrote about mercury retrograde, and not falling for the “bait,” adding “silly goose” at the end. By then, Nicki Minaj had already shared several tweets dissing her manager, TDE Punch, whose real name is Terrence Henderson. After peeping SZA’s tweet, Minaj went IN, writing, “Go draw your freckles back on bookie,” and added, “Sounding like a fkng dead dog.”
After a few tweets, SZA bowed out, while Nicki kept going for hours and the next day. Meanwhile, her fanbase dug into the singer’s past, resurfacing shady tweets SZA allegedly wrote about female artists, like Nicki, Rihanna, and Ciara. Those past tweets really set Nicki Minaj off. After an X user resurfaced a video of SZA chasing down Rihanna on the red carpet, Nicki again slammed the singer.
“lol. These be the fake girl’s girls who talk shit but will run u down for a photo or do shit like this on camera to pretend they’re not the hater they rlly are. I wonder what she was lying about to the interviewer. Man it’s so freeing to REALLY be yourself,” Nicki Minaj wrote.
Under that tweet from Minaj, SZA stepped in to clear the air. She blasted Nicki for pretending not to know her music, and dropped the screenshot backing up what TDE Punch has already said.
“Nicki .You absolutely know my music and what I contribute cause you’ve asked for features twice to no response . In addition to rapping my lyrics on feeling myself ‘Cooking up the bass looking like a kilo’? Lol ur having a moment…I’m not sure why but be blessed,” SZA wrote.
Nicki Seemingly Responds To Released Screenshot
More than 12 hours later, Nicki Minaj seemingly responded to SZA releasing the texted request. However, rather than address the request, she went in on SZA’s freckles with a punchline.
“Hey it’s Nicki. Minaj? No. The knickerbockers. We’d like to know if when you play basketball if your freckles wipe off when you sweat. Otherwise we’d like to offer you a once in a lifetime chance to play for the NEW YORK KNICKS”
A few minutes later, she threw more shade at SZA by mentioning her ‘Black Panther’ song, ‘All the Stars’ with Kendrick Lamar. In her post, she again suggested the singer is a liar—a claim she’s been making based on the singer’s alleged fake freckles, among other things.

A few tweets later, she circled back to a theory she and her fanbase have been following about SZA buying listeners. She questioned how the singer’s monthly listenership had allegedly dropped by 30 million.

TDE Punch Clears On The Air On Allegedly Shading Nicki
As mentioned, TDE Punch has already said he’s lost on Nicki Minaj’s energy. She’s said he has been bullying her on social media over the years over rejected business proposals. However, she has not shared the alleged evidence of harassment or specified the business proposals.
The Barbs have pointed to at least one tweet they deemed shade. In April 2012, Punch tweeted that Nicki’s album projection numbers were 225,000 for the first week. He added “Yikes” to the end of the post. While the rapper’s fanbase might’ve seen shade, the Top Dawg Entertainment CEO said on Wednesday that his tweet was praise. “In 2012, I thought 225K was a great number,” he wrote.
