“Gossip Girl” actor Chace Crawford sent social media abuzz after he went Instagram official with rumored girlfriend, Filipino-American model Kelsey Merritt.
To mark his 40th birthday on Saturday, Crawford shared a series of photos on Instagram, including a mirror selfie with Merritt, in which they were both dressed in black, and his hand was placed around the model’s waist.
The American actor also posted a solo photo of Merritt holding a birthday cake with the greeting “Happy birthday, darling.” This marked the first time that Crawford posted a photo of Merritt after they were photographed kissing in New York City earlier this year.
The pair were first linked in November after eagle-eyed followers noticed they were Instagram mutuals and their vacation photos seemed to have been taken from the same place.
The rumored couple also made a public appearance together at Tiffany & Co.’s Blue Book Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in April. Crawford wore a tuxedo, while Merritt stunned in a black gown.

Despite the public sightings, the pair has yet to directly confirm their real status.
Crawford rose to fame for his role as Nate Archibald in the 2007 “Gossip Girl,” cementing his title as the teen-drama heartthrob. He has appeared in the series “The Boys” and the film “What to Expect When You’re Expecting.”
Crawford was previously linked to “Gossip Girl” co-star Rachel Bilson, although at the time, she denied the romance. The actor then had a three-year relationship with actress Rebecca Rittenhouse before they split in 2018.
Meanwhile, Merritt, who was born to a Filipino mother, is known as the first Filipino model to walk in Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, followed by being the first Filipina featured in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2019.
Merritt had a relationship with Olympic swimmer Conor Dwyer until their breakup in 2022. She was then romantically linked to actor-musician Jared Leto after they were spotted on a vacation in Sardinia. /ra
