29-year-old killed in overnight shooting, police say

Dallas Police responded to a shooting around 3:25 a.m. in the 3500 block of Wilhurt Avenue, officials said.

DALLAS — A 29-year-old man was killed in a fatal shooting overnight, Dallas police said. 

Around 3:25 a.m. Saturday, Dallas police responded to a shooting call in the 3500 block of Wilhurt Avenue, Dallas police said in a press release. An initial investigation revealed that 29-year-old Isaiah McWilliams was shot, the release states. 

Dallas Fire-Rescue transported McWilliams to a hospital, where he died, police said. 

Police are investigating the incident.
