PBR moves 2026 World Finals back to Fort Worth due to World Cup scheduling conflict

Professional Bull Riders announced Friday that the 2026 PBR Unleash The Beast World Finals Championship will be returning to Dickies Arena in Fort Worth.

FORT WORTH, Texas — Dickies Arena will once again host the 2026 PBR Unleash The Beast World Finals, the organization announced.

The 2026 World Cup prompted organizers to move the event from AT&T Stadium, Professional Bull Riders announced in a press release.

Professional Bull Riders will host its marquee bull riding event entirely in Fort Worth, according to the release. PBR World Finals had previously been held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, in 2022 and 2023. Then, in 2024 and 2025, the early rounds of the event were held at Fort Worth’s Cowtown Coliseum and the finals were held at Arlington’s AT&T Stadium.

Early rounds of the Finals will begin at Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth on May 7 through 10, 2026. The World Cup is expected to begin June 11, 2026. AT&T Stadium will host 9 matches, the most of any venue.

“With the 2026 FIFA World Cup coming to AT&T Stadium, PBR World Finals – Championship will shift to a new home for the season – Dickies Arena,” Sean Gleason, CEO and Commissioner of PBR, said in a press release. “We’re proud to keep the toughest championship in sports right here in Texas, starting the journey at historic Cowtown Coliseum and culminating with crowning our new World Champion at Dickies Arena — also home to the Fort Worth Rattlers of PBR Teams.”

The PBR World Finals debuted in Fort Worth at the Cowtown Coliseum in 1993, according to the release.

“Fort Worth is honored to welcome PBR World Finals back to both Cowtown Coliseum and Dickies Arena – two iconic venues that showcase the city’s Western heritage and world-class hospitality,” Bob Jameson, CEO of Visit Fort Worth, said.
