The 6-foot-10 center claimed the second of three BPCs awards handed out in Season 49, putting him in strong consideration for taking the Most Valuable Player for the third straight year and ninth overall, the most by any player.

Fajardo was the Best Player of the Conference during the Governors’ Cup, edging out Barangay Ginebra’s Japeth Aguilar. Former NorthPort star Arvin Tolentino was BPC during the Commissioner’s Cup.

But Fajardo has bigger things in mind as he was trying to put the Beermen in a commanding 3-1 lead over the Tropang 5G in the championship series being played as of posting time.
