Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh says Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (R-FL) is “not American” and should “go back to Cuba.” She was born in Miami.

MATT WALSH (HOST): Some of our most shameful moments as a country relate to how we treat immigrants, she says. Right.

Well, a couple of questions. First of all, what do you mean by our, what do you mean by we Maria?

OK. You’re Cuban. Your greatest priority is to destroy our national sovereignty and identity. You talk about American history like it’s something to be ashamed of.

So there’s no we here. You’re not American. You clearly don’t like this country or identify yourself with it. So there is no we here.

You want to talk about we, go back to Cuba and talk about we. I mean, this is the — like, how dare you come here and start telling us that we aren’t allowed to have a country anymore? OK.

How dare you come here and tell us that, oh, you’re not — no — you’re — it’s shameful. This — it’s shame. You should be ashamed. How dare — get the hell out. Seriously. Standing there talking about shameful moments.

I know one shameful moment in American history, it’s when you got elected. That’s one shameful moment.

And then notice what else she said, she said, our economy needs a reliable workforce in areas where other Americans don’t participate.

Again, a few problems here. She says other Americans. So to her, illegal immigrants who aren’t citizens are still Americans. Right? Some guy who arrived here from Guatemala 10 minutes ago is just as American as you. In fact, he’s an American. You are an other American.

And not only that, but according to Maria, you, as an American, refuse to participate in wide swaths of the economy. Americans just refuse to participate. We’re the problem, says Maria. We should be ashamed. We’re the problem.
