Apple has introduced a new subscription service called AppleCare One, designed to simplify device protection for users with multiple Apple products. Instead of purchasing individual coverage for each device, users can now cover up to three devices under a single plan, making it more convenient and cost-effective. The service also offers flexibility—additional devices can be included by paying an extra charge over the standard subscription fee.

The AppleCare One subscription plan includes all the benefits of AppleCare+, such as unlimited accidental damage repairs, 24/7 priority support, Apple-certified service, and battery coverage. The plan is designed to offer more flexibility and value for users with multiple Apple devices under a single subscription.

Among the key upgrades, AppleCare One allows users to cover devices that are up to four years old, and headphones up to one year old, expanding beyond the previous 60-day eligibility limit for AppleCare+. Notably, theft and loss protection, which was previously exclusive to iPhones, has now been extended to include iPads and Apple Watch models, though users will still be subject to fees and deductibles.

Apple also touts simplified plan management as a major feature. When a customer trades in a device at Apple, the new device automatically takes its place in the AppleCare One coverage. Additionally, users can add or remove products from their plan at any time, making it easier to manage coverage as their device lineup changes.
There are a few limitations: only devices linked to the user’s Apple Account are eligible for coverage. The base price of AppleCare One is $19.99/month (₹1,700), and customers can add extra devices for $5.99/month (₹500) per device. Apple claims the plan can help users save up to $11/month (~₹900) compared to separate AppleCare+ subscriptions.
According to Apple, “AppleCare One also simplifies plan management. When a customer trades in a covered product directly to Apple, it is automatically removed from their AppleCare One plan and replaced with the new device. In addition, as a monthly plan, AppleCare One makes it easy for customers to maintain coverage for as long as they’d like across as many products as they want, including the ability to move products in and out of their plan at any time.”
