1 killed, 2 injured in head-on crash, Fort Worth police say

One person died in a head-on collision after a truck driver veered into oncoming traffic, police said.

FORT WORTH, Texas — One person died Wednesday night in a head-on collision near Lake Worth, police said. 

Officers responded to reports of a crash around 8:28 p.m. Wednesday in the 4600 block of Hodgkins Road, Fort Worth police said in a press release. 

A witness told police that a man in a truck veered into oncoming traffic for an unknown reason, police said. The man died on the scene, the release states. 

An adult woman and child were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. 

Police are investigating the incident.
