The Texas Education Agency Is Releasing The 2024 Accountability Ratings

Posted on July 26, 2025

(WBAP/KLIF) – AUSTIN, TX – After a year-long delay caused by a lawsuit, the Texas Education Agency is releasing the 2024 accountability ratings on August 15th. On the same day that the 2025 data is released, families across the state will be able to look at performance data for districts and campuses.

The TEA stated that all school leaders have had access to this information since August of 2024. However since the bar for an A has increased, several North Texas school districts including Dallas, Fort Worth, and Plano ISD, joined a lawsuit challenging the new grading system. Schools are required to have 88% of seniors ready for college, career, or the military. Previously the benchmark was 60%.
