A popular Dallas brewery is moving ahead with expansion.
Plans were solidified last week for Manhattan Project Beer Co. to open a 45,000-square-foot production and distribution facility in Mesquite. The beer brewer will occupy roughly half of a new 90,000-square-foot building being developed by Simple Development Partners. The rest is available for lease.
The new space will serve as Manhattan Project Beer’s primary production facility, shifting the bulk of its brewing, packaging and distribution operations from its current West Dallas location. The company will retain its Dallas facility at 2215 Sulphur St.
The Mesquite facility will be close to both U.S. 80 and I-635, not far from Town East Mall — which is going through a transformation of its own, including plans for a Main Event, but has run into financial headwinds.
