The Beaumont United Timberwolves will host their first BU Feeder Camp for young athletes on July 30-31.
BEAUMONT, Texas — With the high school football season just a week away, the Beaumont United Timberwolves are gearing up under new leadership — and turning their attention to the next generation of athletes.
Before the varsity squad takes the field for its first official practice on Monday evening, the Timberwolves will host their first annual BU Feeder Camp for elementary and middle school students. The camp, scheduled for July 30-31 from 9 a.m. to noon, is open to all 2nd through 8th graders within the Beaumont United school district.
New head Coach Drenard Williams and his staff will lead the two-day clinic, offering young athletes a chance to develop skills, learn fundamentals, and build excitement for the upcoming season.
While the focus this week is on the future, the present is full of promise. The Timberwolves are looking to secure their first winning season in school history following a 3-7 overall record last year, including a 1-5 mark in district play. With key starters returning, Coach Williams is hopeful that this season will mark a turning point for the program.
Beaumont United will open the 2025 campaign on Friday, August 29 against Houston Bellaire in Houston. As the countdown to kickoff continues, the Timberwolves are laying the foundation for long-term success — both on the field and in the community.
For now, the spotlight shines on the young Timberwolves of tomorrow, taking their first snaps under the same sun that will soon rise on a new season.
