Police said a man was shot and killed in southern Dallas overnight.

DALLAS — A man was shot and killed overnight in southern Dallas, police said. 

Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 11:36 p.m. Monday in the 3000 block of East Ledbetter Drive, the Dallas Police Department said in a press release. 

Investigators determined that a man was shot at the location and died from his injuries, police said. 

Dallas police are investigating the incident.
