On Monday, July 28, Fletcher took to her Instagram Story to recall a question she received from her son.
“So, how ’bout this morning, Yosohn says, ‘Mom, what year were you born?’ I said, ‘I was born in 1995.’ He said, ‘Oh my God, so you were in slavery?’” Fletcher explains, looking at the camera, baffled.

Before Yosohn’s reaction to Ari Fletcher sharing what year she was born had the internet crackin’ up, Ari already had the internet in stitches. As The Shade Room previously reported, earlier this month, Fletcher took to X to share a brief thought about Tyler Perry’s ‘Madea’ films.
“I wonder if Tyler Perry gone make a movie when Madea gets really old and dies. That would break my heart,” she wrote at the time.
Subsequently, the internet started goin’ off, with one social media user telling Fletcher not to give Perry any “ideas.”
