Shamea Morton has been emotional on her YouTube channel amid backlash from RHOA fans.
Shamea Morton took to YouTube to issue an apology to her “Real Housewives of Atlanta” costars after the Season 16 reunion aired in full. She had a tough time as a first-time peach holder. Her friendship with Porsha Williams became a focal point of the season after Shamea aired her grievances to Drew Sidora, Angela Oakley, Cynthia Bailey, and Kelli Ferrell. Brit Eady also alleged that Shamea showed her a private text message conversation she had with Porsha. Shamea denied this. However, Porsha said the texts Brit described are private things she told Shamea. So she believed Brit.
Another difficult thing for Shamea and Porsha’s friendship was the fallout that occurred between their mothers. Shamea’s mother had a lot to say in the recent YouTube video. While Shamea cried, her mother insinuated that people are jealous of Shamea and that none of the women from the Season 16 cast can compare to her. Shamea was raised to be a “classy woman,” and she was “raised right.”
She also told Shamea that people overtalk her when they are embarrassed and scared of their truths coming out. While she didn’t name Porsha, fans feel like most of the comments pertained to Porsha and her mother.
Many have taken to social media to call out Shamea’s actions. They feel like she is spiraling as a result of being in the hot seat at the reunion. What are your thoughts?
