2 / Support Canines at Paddle For Puppies

Get out on the water and raise some money for dogs in need during this unique fundraiser. Participants can rent a kayak, canoe, or stand-up paddleboard from Rowing Dock and paddle together down Lady Bird Lake. All of the proceeds from this amazing event help to save the lives of puppies in the Parvo ICU Program at Austin Pets Alive! Aug. 10, 8 a.m., 2418 Stratford Drive

Back for the second night in a row this week, this beloved outdoor gathering will feature the sounds of Chaparelle, Next of Kin, and Elijah Delgado on Wednesday. Talk about purple reign! Travis Audubon is hosting its annual parties where crowds gather to watch hundreds of purple martin birds take flight at dusk. 6 / Swirl, Sniff, and Sip at Grapes for Good  

Oenophiles, unite! Drink for a good cause as more than 20 of Austin’s top wine professionals and sommeliers come together to pour wines. Guests can enjoy wine tastings, a silent auction, and food from participating culinary partners. All proceeds will benefit the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund. Aug. 10, 6 p.m., 702 Shady Lane

 


7 / Swim Under the Moonlight

Howl at the moon as you take a dip during Full Moon Swim at Austin Motel. The free event features the sweet sounds of vaporwave, indie sleaze, and yacht rock from Sunset Canyon and KC Powell.
