Trick Daddy made the remarks during a recent appearance on The Nene Leakes Show. The 51-year-old opened up about living with lupus, his past legal issues, and lessons from the music industry. But the interview took a turn when Nene asked about his dating life.
According to BET, he described himself as “wide open, very whore-ish,” then added that while he talks to many women, he’s not intimate with all of them. He then said he’s not attracted to women over 35, with a few exceptions, including Nene. He claimed older women have too many standards, are too emotional, and carry baggage from past relationships.
His comments drew instant backlash after a clip from the interview hit social media. One X user responded, “I hope I never reach this level of delusion in my life.” Another wrote, “So you want younger women to accept less? Mm. Telling…”
Critics pointed out that his remarks didn’t sound like a personal preference but more like an attack. Many women called it ageist and disrespectful, especially the use of “damaged goods.”
