ATLANTA — There’s an apparent active shooter situation unfolding at the Emory Atlanta Campus at Emory Point CVS. Officials are telling those in the area to “shelter in place.”
Emory officials shared on X to “RUN, HIDE, FIGHT” and told people to “avoid the area.”
Emory College of Arts and Sciences re-shared the same post. The Atlanta Police Department said it’s investigating the incident unfolding near the 1700 block of Clifton Road.
There is a massive police presence near the area.
Our crews on the scene spotted multiple agencies responding. GDOT cameras and 11Alive SkyTracker also show law enforcement with streets blocked.
