Angel Torres, a popular nail tech and former reality TV star from ‘Boss Nails,’ has come under fire from multiple clients claiming they’ve been scammed by him. Specifically, some customers are saying they booked appointments with Torres, dropped hefty deposits, and took cross-country flights, only to arrive at empty addresses he claimed to be his place of work.
Others claim they waited for product orders, which never arrived.
Angel Torres has spoken out. But customers are wanting more than just apologies. Now, The Shade Room’s Justin Carter is getting involved and doing a deep dive into the claims on ‘TSR Investigates.’

More Details On The Claims Against Popular Nail Tech & Former ‘Boss Nails’ Star, Angel Torres
According to Carter, a woman named Anna Jones went viral on TikTok last month after accusing Torres of being a fraud. Jones, who lives in Delaware, reportedly booked a nail appointment with Torres in Houston. She reportedly paid a $45 deposit, booked a $175 flight, and got a $35 car rental. This, all for Torres to reportedly switch his location from Houston to Philadelphia.
Out of fear, Jones rebooked her appointment in Philadelphia.
“I walked to the other side of the block to see if maybe I missed it, I ask around — nobody can give me an answer. I walk all the way back, finally, somebody comes out and they say nobody lives there,” Jones told viewers in a July TikTok.
More On The Fraud Accusations
And Jones wasn’t the only one to apparently be scammed. Per Carter, multiple people have taken to TikTok, calling out Torres and multiple business aliases and subsequent scams. Furthermore, one woman reportedly alleged Torres ran a “free acrylic” deal. He supposedly instructed interested customers that they only needed to pay for shipping to receive the products.
