Samsung has confirmed a new Galaxy Unpacked event for September 4, just days before Apple unveils the iPhone 17 series on September 9. Timed ahead of the IFA 2025 tech fair in Berlin, the event will be streamed online and is expected to showcase new products, including a Galaxy Tab that is already open for reservation. While full details remain undisclosed, the strategic timing signals a competitive start to the month between the two tech giants.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event: How To Watch It Live
Samsung has announced that its Galaxy Unpacked event will take place virtually on September 4 at 5:30 am ET (3:00 pm IST). The company says the event will focus on delivering a “more seamless mobile experience across a wider range of devices.” Viewers can stream the launch live on Samsung’s website, YouTube channel, or click on the link embedded below.
Ahead of the event, Samsung is offering a $50 (approx. ₹4,400) credit to customers who reserve the “latest qualifying” Galaxy Tab through Samsung.com or the Shop Samsung app. This reserve credit can be used toward additional purchases like Galaxy phones, Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Watch, or accessories, though not on the reserved tablet itself. Buyers can also avail up to $950 (approx. ₹83,000) in savings through trade-in credits, free storage upgrades, and other offers.

In addition to the Unpacked event, Samsung will host a press conference and exhibition booths at IFA Berlin 2025, which kicks off on September 5. The Galaxy Tab S11 series is expected to debut, featuring two models — the Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra — powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset. Notably, reports suggest there will be no Plus variant this year.
Leaks also point to the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE, tipped to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate, an Exynos 2400 SoC, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage. It may run Android 16-based One UI 8 and pack a 4,900mAh battery with 45W wired and 25W wireless charging. Camera expectations include a triple rear setup led by a 50MP main sensor, positioning it as a strong addition to the Galaxy S25 lineup.
