Did you notice the new Gemini icon change?

Google has swapped icons of the Gemini apps on iPhone and Android, 9to5Google reported. What used to be a purple to blue gradient on a four-point star is now a rainbow gradient more reminiscent of the Google logo, with yellow, green, red, and blue.

The star points are also more rounded than the old logo. In addition to the new app icons, 9to5Google writes that this new star is featured on the home screen widget on Android but not the iPhone. The Gemini website currently features the old blue and purple, too.

But, Google Gemini’s Instagram account has also debuted the new look. This change does make Gemini more part of the Googlefamily,” as all the other product logos — like for Search, Chrome, and Google Play — all feature the same colors.
