Highs will be in the low-90s Saturday & Sunday
FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS
-
TODAY: Mostly sunny, high of 93°
-
SUNDAY: Similar to Saturday, but a stray (10%) shower is possible
-
NEXT WEEK: Hot, small rain chance Wednesday (30%) with week cool front
-
NEXT BIG THING?: Hints for *decent* rainfall sometime between 9/28 to 9/29
FORECAST
A bit of a “ho-hum” weather pattern this weekend. Expect much of the same like the last couple of days. Mild mornings, warm afternoons in the low-90s. The only chance for rain is a stray (10%) chance for an afternoon downpour Sunday, but the vast majority of us will miss out.
NEXT WEEK
The heat high will remain dominant until Wednesday. This is when a weak cool front will slide into Texas. Because this front is weak, don’t expect a noticeable dip in temperatures. It will also only provide a small chance (30%) for a few showers Wednesday.
THE NEXT BIG THING
We are watching the forecast closely beyond the next 7 days. There are indications that the heat high will break down and a significant low pressure system will move into Texas sometime between Sunday, September 28 and Monday, September 29. There are hints we could get good rain. But because it’s so far off, things could easily change, and you’ll want to keep up with forecast. We’ll provide updates! Have a great weekend!
