Billionaires’ Bunker, created by the same people behind the popular Money Heist, is currently the second most-watched non-English show on the platform. With 3.7 million views this week, it also became the number one show in three countries where Netflix is available.
If you’re eager for a second helping, however, you will probably have to wait a while.
Billionaires’ Bunker Season 2 Release Date
At the time of writing, Netflix hasn’t officially renewed the series for more episodes. That said, there’s still time. The streaming service typically waits a bit before making an announcement, likely to assess viewership.
As long as it gives the green light, Billionaires’ Bunker season 2 could arrive sometime in late 2026.

What Could Happen in Billionaires’ Bunker Season 2?
Billionaires’ Bunker is the kind of series that thrives on twists, so we’ll try not to give too much away. The plot revolves around an ultra-luxury bunker built to shelter society’s richest.
We follow Max, a young man who was sentenced to prison after causing his girlfriend Ane’s death in a car crash. His father brings him into the bunker, where Ane’s relatives also reside. The tension between the two families escalates, fueled by the claustrophobic setting. At the same time, a catastrophe obliterates the surface world, trapping them inside.
Everything isn’t what it seems, and the bunker residents soon begin to suspect that they’re part of something nefarious. As they try to figure things out, secrets come to light. Expect betrayals, power struggles, and the kind of schemes that keep you furiously pressing Next Episode.
The first season ends on a cliffhanger, with Max staging a daring escape in his desperation to reach the surface world. Whether he’s successful or not, it remains to be seen. Billionaires’ Bunker season 2 will likely kick off right where the finale ended.
“For now, we’ve been working on the opening, because we needed to know how we could restart so we could write the ending. What would happen immediately afterward, that’s planned. And how we could escalate to an even more hardcore and mean-spirited place,” creator Álex Pina said while discussing what might come next.
Hopefully, Netflix will give fans a chance to find out how an even more hardcore second season would look like.
