In the season premiere of “Belle Collective,” Marie’s dating life confuses the group, and Latrice’s friend accuses Glen of being in her DMs. Here are the highlights for “Harpo, Who Dis Woman?”
Latrice wants Cliff to come home at night.
There have been some changes in Marie’s life. She is currently dating her ex-husband, Cedric. She takes their daughter with her to visit him. During a confessional, Cedric and Marie talk about their reconciliation. They feel like they are in a much better space than they were years ago, while they were married, despite Cedric’s past track record of infidelity.
Latrice and Cliff have a taste session with their potential new chef. Their restaurant, Taste, has been doing very well, and they are ready to take the success to the next level. However, they have been having some tension because Cliff will stay overnight in one of the condos they had built on top of the venue. The condos were Cliff’s idea, and Latrice is having a hard time trusting that he won’t be unfaithful.
Sometime after they wrap up the conversation, Latrice’s friend Amanda arrives. Amanda recently divorced her wife for infidelity, and she’s trying to get back into dating.
Marie is dating her ex-husband, and a legally married man.
The ladies come together for a birthday party for Marie. Selena talks to Lateshia about the frustrations she is currently having with her fiancé, Mike. He bought a boat and an 18-wheeler box truck behind her back. Since Lateshia has been there with Glen before, she suggests that both couples have a sit-down soon so Selena and Mike can hash things out with their guidance.
Lateshia’s friend Kerri and her husband Matt make their official debut on the show. Matt is a Major League Baseball agent. Kerri is a serial entrepreneur who owns three restaurants. The couple has three kids, including a set of twins.
Things get awkward when Marie’s boyfriend, Martin, arrives at the party. Cedric is there as well. The group wonders how Marie is managing dating two men at the same time. Kerri is completely taken aback when Martin confirms he is also separated from his wife.
Latrice’s friend makes messy accusations about Glen.
Tamara comes by to catch up with Latrice while Amanda is doing her hair. Amanda is asked how she feels about Latrice and Lateshia being cool again, and she doesn’t hold back her thoughts. She thinks Lateshia is a sneaky person who likes to hide her hands.
Amanda goes on to allege that Glen has been in her DMs. She shows Latrice and Tambra screenshots and goes on to say Glen is her type, somewhat because he’s “black” and “ugly,” so she “entertained him.” And she can understand why he’s been messaging her because she believes she looks much better than Lateshia.
In a green screen interview, Latrice says she doesn’t know how to handle the situation, given the info she’s been given.
