Back for its second year, the Michelin Guide in Texas honored la crème de la crème of the statewide dining scene on Tuesday night.
This year’s list of Austin’s biggest winners mirrored the inaugural one in 2024, with the same seven restaurants that had earned a Michelin star last year retaining the honor.
But there were some exciting additions, too. Local hospitality group Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group had a big night, nabbing a green star for Emmer & Rye as well as a star for their San Antonio restaurants Nicosi and Isidore, the latter of which also received a green star.
Other additions included Mercado Sin Nombre and Parish Barbecue winning Bib Gourmand Awards, Celia Pellegrini of Este and Suerte earning the Sommelier Award, and Chuck Charnichart of Barbs-B-Q receiving the Young Chef Award.
Several restaurants were added to the recommended list as well, including Fabrik, Siti, Pasta Bar, Le Calamar, and Poeta.
