The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is set to launch soon, and ahead of its official reveal, leaks and rumors have revealed several key upgrades. The upcoming foldable is expected to feature a slimmer design and improved performance thanks to the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. While these changes are promising, a fresh leak from tipster Yogesh Brar has drawn attention to a potential price hike that could surprise Indian buyers.

According to Brar, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 may be priced between ₹1,75,000 and ₹1,79,000 in India—a notable jump from last year’s Galaxy Z Fold 6, which launched at ₹1,49,999. This price increase had previously been rumored in France as well, hinting at a global trend. In contrast, there’s no word yet on the pricing of the Galaxy Z Flip 7, although it’s expected to retain a similar price as its predecessor despite also receiving design improvements.

The higher price tag could place the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in direct competition with the upcoming Vivo X Fold 5, which is also tipped to offer significant upgrades.
