AURORA UPDATE
Wow! What a show. For the second time in just the last few years, Central Texas was able to see the rare (for us) event. KSAT Connect pictures poured in last night and we truly appreciate you sharing them with us. With more energy headed toward Earth, it’s possible, although not a guarantee, that we may see them again tonight. A G4 Watch from the NWS Space Weather Prediction Center remains in effect. Remember, it’ll require you to get away from city lights and it’ll most likely only be visible through your cell phone.
WARM NOVEMBER STRETCH AHEAD, FOG NEXT FEW DAYS
Humidity is already making its return this morning and could result in some brief, patchy fog. Temperatures are forecast to reach the low-80s today. And from here on, highs will reach the 80s through the foreseeable future. The next few mornings could bring rounds of patchy fog, as moisture increases.
ELUSIVE RAIN
Despite the increase in moisture levels, rainfall stays out of the forecast. The only window in which isolated showers or storms would be possible is Tuesday into Wednesday. Even then, the odds don’t look great.
