Weekend Worthy: Celebrate Christmas with ice skating at Grapevine Main Station

Happy Thursday,

I want to wish you a very special Merry Christmas this morning! I hope you’ve had the chance to eat a nice holiday breakfast and unwrap presents under your tree.

I’m currently at my family’s home in Duncanville where I’ve filled my plate with quite a few tamales. I’m cracking a few jokes with my siblings and playing an intense game of Guitar Hero on Playstation 2 — I know, the console is quite the artifact. Later today, we’re going to head to downtown Fort Worth to snap a couple of family photos in front of the Sundance tree.

If you’re looking for some creative ways to spend Christmas Day with your family, check out the Peace Plaza Ice Rink in front of the Grapevine Main Station. I’m not the best at ice skating, but I can attest it’s a fun time.

Also, if you’re looking for the best places around Tarrant County to welcome 2026, click here to see where you can ring in the new year.
