A popular North Texas restaurant is expanding again with a new location

Vandelay Hospitality Group announced that its newest Hudson House location will open in Frisco on Wednesday, Aug. 6.

FRISCO, Texas — Hudson House, the East Coast-inspired restaurant and oyster bar that got its start in Highland Park, is expanding again.

Vandelay Hospitality Group announced that its newest Hudson House location will open in Frisco on Wednesday, Aug. 6.

Hudson House’s ninth location will be situated off Preston Road and Warren Parkway, marking its first expansion into Collin County. The restaurant will be open Sunday-Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

“Frisco has been on our radar for a long time — it’s a dynamic, fast-growing community that values quality and experience, which aligns perfectly with what we aim to deliver at Hudson House,” Vandelay CEO Hunter Pond said in a statement.

Hudson House, known for its cheeseburgers, raw bar and self-proclaimed “World’s Coldest Martini, has seven locations in North Texas, including several in the Dallas area and one in Fort Worth. Hudson House, which started with the Highland Park spot off Lovers Lane in 2017, also has two locations in Houston.

The new Frisco location will have a 3-6 p.m. happy hour on weekdays, featuring half-price drinks, including martinis, $3 East Coast oysters and $10 cheeseburgers.

The new Hudson House is also the latest expansion for Vandelay, which owns a host of Dallas restaurants, including Drake’s Hollywood, D.L. Mack’s, Jack & Harry’s and Anchor Sushi Bar.
