Texas A&M is the first university in the nation to partner with Buc-ee’s and sell Beaver Nuggets, beef jerky and other signature items on its main campus.
COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Aggies no longer have to take a road trip to get their favorite Buc-ee’s snacks and merchandise. More than 45 signature items are now available at three locations on Texas A&M University’s main campus in College Station.
A&M is the first university in the nation to partner with Texas-based Buc-ee’s and sell Beaver Nuggets, beef jerky, and other signature items on its main campus. It’s also the first location to offer the items outside of Buc-ee’s travel centers.
They’re now available at Aggie Express Commons, Aggie Express Hullabaloo and Creekside Market through Aggie Dining.
Buc-ee’s founder and CEO Arch “Beaver” Alpin III graduated from A&M in 1980.
“As an Aggie, it’s incredibly special to bring Buc-ee’s to the heart of the campus,” Alpin said. “We’re thrilled to share a little piece of Buc-ee’s with the Aggie Family every day.”
This collaboration continues Aggie Dining’s mission to bring innovative and student-loved brands to campus, enhancing convenience and campus life.
What’s the big deal about Buc-ee’s?
So what is it about the massive convenience store and gas station that always fuels excitement and creates buzz?
A lot of customers stop there for the large, clean bathrooms with countless stalls. Others love the beef jerky, barbecue and homemade fudge. And some people can’t get enough of those sticky, sweet Beaver Nuggets.
The convenience store chain was founded by Aplin in Clute, Texas, in 1982, and the Beaver Empire has been growing steadily ever since.
